Condolences for the loss of the Jain President Nirmal Kumar Sethi

Our deepest condolences to the Sri Bharatvarshiya Digambar Jain Mahasabha for the great loss of President Nirmal Kumar Jain Sethi. May his family and the members of the Jain community find solace in the memory of the deep devotion and integrity of his life.  

I had the privilege of enjoying the friendship of Nirmal Kumar Jain Sethi over the last years of his life. This was a profound experience for me as he was fully devoted in the research and promotion of the Jain cultural heritage around the world. 

He made an enormous contribution to the development of the Greek Indian relations organizing the International Jain Conference in 2018 in Corfu Island, providing scholarships to Greek students for the study of Jainism in India and organizing zoom conferences on Jain-Greek studies.  

He will remain in our memory for his exemplary life and contribution. Jai Jinendra!
