Convergences and the World Human Forum in collaboration with SDSN Greece join forces and present the 1st Convergences Greece Forum in Athens, 1 & 2 April 2019, the Forum on Innovation, Social Economy and Sustainable Development.

The opening event of the 1st ConvergencesGreeceForum will be attended by 5 highly acclaimed speakers who will talk about “a world full of zeros” Zero Exclusion – Zero Carbon – Zero Poverty.

Muhammad Yunus
Nobel Peace Prize, Bangladeshi Economist, Social Entrepreneur and Founder of Grameen Bank. He is the “father” of the concept of Microfinance, which helped millions of people to get out of poverty.

Hans Joachim Schellnhuber
Director Emeritus of the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research, scientific advisor to a number of eminent political and religious leaders, including the German Chancellor Angela Merkel and Pope Francis.

Stavros Benos
Pioneer of convergences in Greece through bringing together all forces of the Greek society, founder and president of DIAZOMA citizens’ initiative.

Don Mullan
Irish best-selling author/humanitarian and media producer. His book Eyewitness Bloody Sunday is officially recognized as a primary catalyst for a new Bloody Sunday Inquiry.

Gina Belafonte

The Forum will offer a wide variety of dynamic and interactive sessions & workshops to identify and create together concrete solutions for our cities & communities.
