Celebration of World Yoga Day in the Museum of Asian Art, Corfu

On the occasion of the celebration of the International Day of Yoga, the Museum of Asian Arts in Corfu organizes on Thursday 21 June 2018 at 19.30 in the inner peristyle of the Palace of St. Michael and George the following special events:

A. Devotional Indian songs “Kirtan” with the musicians:
Elena Souerev, Soprano
Orestis Zafeiropoulos, cello, voice
Spyros Tzekos, clarinet
Yannis Barzoukas, guitar. voice
Thanasis Gogas, Congas
Tassos Pangratis, campbell

Musical Event: Sophie Andree – Sa. Atmashanti, following the musical suggestion of her student Nikos Barlogiannis, will perform musical conversations with sound vibrations through rare antique Tibetan Singing Bowls, Tingshas, Bells & Chimes.

B. Premiere of the theatrical performance “DIMIOURGIA” by Atropos Research Theater.
The show is based on the Indian epic of Mahabharata and the philosophical text of Katha Upanishad, as well as ancient Greek, Zoroastrian, Sumerian and African myths.
