Lectures series on “Two seminal cultures – India and Greece” in Bangalore

The Indo-Hellenic Society for Culture and Development (ELINEPA) invites its members and friends in Bangalore to attend a series of lectures by Prof. Bharat Gupt on “Two Seminal Cultures – India and Greece”

Prof. Bharat Gupt has worked for many decades on Greek-Indian issues, mainly in the fields of music and theatre. He is a Trustee in the Indira Gandhi Center for the Arts (IGNCA) and author of the book “Dramatic Concepts, Greek and Indian: A Study of the Poetics and the Natyasastra.” He was the main initiator of  the International Conference “Demetrios Galanos and his Legacy: Indo-Greek Studies 1790-2018“, which was organized by the  Indira Gandhi Center for the Arts  in February 2018 in New Delhi and Varanasi.
