Presentation of books οn Indo-Greek studies at Jawaharlal Nehru University
On the occasion of the Platinum Jubilee Birth Anniversary of Prof. U.P. Arora, a pioneer scholar on Indo-Greek Studies, the Greek Chair at the Jawaharlal Nehru University organized a felicitation event and the release of his latest book “Greek Sources on India: Alexander to Megasthenes“

The event was organized by Dr. Anil Kumar Singh, Assistant Professor in Greek Studies at JNU, who also presented his recent book “Dialogue of Civilizations: India and Greece“.
Ancient Greek Comedy “Lysistrata” by Aristophanes directed by Ms. Rashma N. Kalsie was also enacted in memory of Aphroditi Krishnamurti.
H.E. Mr. Dionyssios Kyvetos, Ambassador of Greece, Prof. M. Jagadesh Kumar, Vice-Chancellor, JNU, Prof. Bharat Gupt, President of the Hellenic-Indian Friendship League, Prof. Atul Kumar Sinha, Prof. Shyam Bihari Lal, Prof. Dhananjay Singh, Prof. Devendra Chaube, Prof. Ishtiaque Ahmed, Prof. R. P. Singh, Prof. Renu Shukla and many other colleagues, students, friends and members of the Indo-Greek Academic family graced the event by their kind presence.
