SPEAK DATES 2020 – Get to know the language you always wanted to learn in just 15 minutes

The Foreign Language Teaching Center of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, the European Commission and the Alumni Association “Foreign Language Teaching in Europe” invite you to participate in the online event Speak Date 2020, on Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 December.

An action for multilingualism and language learning. 23 of the languages taught in the Foreign Language School participate. From Italian and Russian to Japanese and Hindi, at Speak Dates you will definitely find the language or multilingual activity that suits you.

But what does one manage to learn in 15 minutes? More than you can imagine: from a Bollywood song, to proverbs and song in Arabic, and from the difference between the words “tuli” and “tuuli” in Finnish to the Vikings in Norwegian and how the words “sun” and “moon” are spelled in Chinese.
