The Classical Art Research Centre, University of Oxford organizes an international workshop on

The Global Connections of Gandharan Art

 on Monday-Tuesday 18th-19th March 2019

The workshop will be held in the Lecture Theatre, Ioannou Centre for Classical and Byzantine Studies, 66 St Giles’, Oxford, OX1 3LU.

The workshop will re-examine the links between Gandharan art and other artistic traditions, including not only those of Greece but also China, Iran, the Roman world, and the Indian subcontinent.
