Greek Scholarships
Scholarships under bilateral agreements and revenues from various institutions.
The Foundation provides every year Scholarships for Hellenes and Foreigners
The Foundation, in fulfillment of the terms of Aristotle Onassis’ Will regarding Education, has established various scholarship programs.
There are currently Programmes of Scholarships for Hellenes for doctoral and postgraduate studies in Greece and abroad, as well as a Programme of Scholarships for Foreigners. These programs are announced annually.
Indian Scholarships
ICCR Scholarship Scheme 2024-2025
The last date for submission of the application is 30 April 2024.
The Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) awards scholarships for regular courses of higher studies to candidates in countries that have a bilateral Cultural Exchange Program with India. One such scholarship is therefore awarded to Greek nationals per year. The scholarship is awarded in almost all the disciplines of regular study and also for research work and non-formal courses (Religion, Classical Music, Dance, and Crafts). The Kendriya Hindi Sansthan in Agra is inviting every year application forms from foreign students under the scheme “Propagation of Hindi Abroad at Kendriya Hindi Sansthan”. The scheme is administered by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India.

The Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) invites applications from the Indian as well as overseas nationals having Master’s degree in Agriculture and allied sciences for the Netaji Subhas-ICAR International Fellowships (NS-ICAR IFs) for the year 2019-20. The NS-ICAR IFs are available for pursuing doctoral degree in agriculture and allied sciences, in the identified priority areas, to the (i) Indian candidates for study abroad in the identified overseas Universities/Institutions having strong research and teaching capabilities and (ii) to overseas candidates for study in the Indian Agricultural Universities (AUs) in the ICAR-AUs system. Thirty fellowships for the duration of three years will be available.

EU and Other Scholarships

Types of fellowships:
- a) European Fellowships (MSCA-IF-EF): for researchers based outside Europe, such as Indian nationals, going to Europe for a duration of between 12 and 24 months.
- b) Global Fellowships (MSA-IF-GF): for researchers based in Europe (nationals or long term residents of a Member State or Associated Country) wishing to spend 12 to 24 months in a Partner country, such as India, with the last year back in Europe.

The United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC) provides annual scholarships to candidates from Europe and North America (EUNA) and from the Middle East and North Africa (MENA). The goal of the Fellowship is to provide participants with first hand exposure to cultural, social and religious diversity in every country they visit as well as to foster inclusion of immigrants.
