Government of India through Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) offers scholarships to foreign nationals to pursue various Ayurveda, Yoga, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy (AYUSH) courses in India.

The Ministry of AYUSH under its ‘International Fellowship Programme’ extends financial support to the eligible foreign nationals for undertaking AYUSH degree courses in premier Institutes in India.

There are 104 seats under the scheme from which 50 Scholarship seats are open to candidates from all  countries for undertaking UG and PG in Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy and also for B.Sc in Yoga and Ph.D. in Ayurveda.

The candidates are required to fill online application available on the ICCR’s prescribed portal and submit along with the certified copies of documents of qualification with English translation. Applications are collected through the Indian Diplomatic Missions,  who scrutinize and forward them to ICCR for selection and placement. ICCR, however, does not consider applications which are received directly from the candidates.
