Kathak is one of the most popular types of Indian classical dance. The dancer wears the gungroo (bells) on the ankles, and she dances in synchronization with the music, describing, with body and hand movements, stories from Indian mythology,  presenting rhythmic compositions along with the Tabla (Indian drums) and the Sitar (Indian stringed instrument).

The actors of the show have lived for years in India where they learned the art of Indian classical dance and music from their teachers in the ancient city of Benares on the banks of the Ganges.  In this performance they want to share their love, energy and harmony that they derive from the Indian classical music.

We will be glad to see you there.
