PHD ChamberEU have the potential to enhance bilateral trade
from USD 141 billion (2017-18) to USD 200 billion by 2022
The esteemed speakers of the Conference were H. E. Mr. Tomasz Kozlowski, Ambassador of the EU to India, Dr Anju Kumar, Joint Secretary (Central Europe), Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, Mr. Rajeev Talwar, President, PHD Chamber, Mr Sanjay Aggarwal, Vice President, PHDCCI, Mr Mohit Jain, Chairman and Mr Vikram Gera, Co-Chairman, International Affairs Committee for Central Europe, PHD Chamber.
While appreciating the strong bilateral relations between India and EU, Mr Rajeev Talwar, President, PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry emphasised on making India an ideal place for setting up defence manufacturing centres and research and development units by foreign companies given its huge market and trade potential.
H.E. Mr. Tomasz Kozlowski, Ambassador of the European Union to India gave the special address at the event and reiterated that the EU is India’s largest trading partner in goods and services combined and a partner to its modernization process. He pointed out that there is a huge potential of two-way trade and investment between the EU and India and it is in our mutual interest to further strengthen our bilateral economic and trade relation.
