Swaraj incorporates within its ambit self rule and the notion of welfare state based on the principles of equal opportunity, equal distribution of wealth, social justice for well being of citizens. Gandhi uses the term of swaraj for home rule which can be seen as freedom from all types of restraints. In the same vein, modern warfare state can be seen as a distinctive amalgamation of democracy, welfare and capitalism which is being influenced by the corporate worldwide.
