International Seminar, “Greeks in World Literature: The people, their ideas and institutions”
The Greek Chair “Demetrios Galanos” of the School of Language, Literature, and Cultural Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) organizes a two days International Seminar on the theme, “Greeks in World Literature: The people, their ideas and institutions” from 23 up to 25 March, 2017 at the Committee Hall, of the JNU Convention Center.
The opening of the seminar will be held on March 23 at 10:30 with a welcome address by H.E. the Ambassador of Greece in New Delhi Mr. Panos Kalogeropoulos and a key note address by Emeritus Professor Udai Prakash Arora. Chair: Prof. Chintamani Mahapatra, Governor: Professor of Greek Studies Anil Kumar Singh. Lecturers Prof. Andreas Katonis and Angeliki Koutsomitopoulou.
