“Alexander the Great in India,” speech by Dr. Dimitrios Vassiliadis

The speech of Indologist Professor and President of ELINEPA Dr. Dimitrios Vassiliadis on the topic “Alexander the Great in India” will be held at the event “Greek- Uzbek relations,” which takes place within the framework of the international Forum MONEY SHOW 2025, on SATURDAY, May 31, 2025 from 8:00 PM, at the DIVANI CARAVEL HOTEL, Room “Macedonia B” mezzanine (Vassileos Alexandrou 2- Athens).

t will be preceded by a speech by the researcher of Hellenistic culture in the East and professor at the People’s University of Athens, Dr. Potitsa Grigorakou, on the topic “Greece – Uzbekistan, common cultural memories”

a) Awards for prominent personalities who promote Greek culture around the world

b) Screening of a documentary about modern Uzbekistan (Tashkent – Samarkand- Bukhara – Khiva)

c) Uzbekistan – tourist destination (presentation of the program for the trip to Uzbekistan 2025)

d) MUSIC live program with national dances and songs by artists in traditional Uzbek costumes)
