International Women’s Day at the Kanya Gurukul Campus in Dehradun
On the auspicious occasion of International Women’s Day, Dr. Dimitrios Vassiliadis, Chairman of the Hellenic-Indian Society for Culture and Development and Director of the Athens Centre for Indian and Indo-Hellenic Studies, visited the Kanya Gurukul Campus in Dehradun, affiliated to Gurukul Kangri, Haridwar.

He planted a sapling on the campus and awarded the eco club members before his deliberations.

His special lecture on ‘Greek Scholars on India,’ organized by the Department of Ancient Indian History, Culture and Archaeology, was followed by an engaging discussion. Faculty members, guests, and students of various disciplines have attended the lecture and discussed diverse cultural issues concerning Greece and India.
