The Hellenic-Indian Society for Culture and Development (ELINEPA) invites its members and friends to attend a lecture by the Chinese academician Chenzhen Yu on the theme:

Influences of the Greco-Buddhist Art in China

On Monday, 14 January 2019, at 5 pm
At LAIKO UNIVERSITY OF ATHENS, (Evripidou 12, Athens)

The lecture is organized by Dr. Potitsa Grigorakou, Researcher on the History of Hellenistic Culture in the East, in the framework of her course: “The cities of Alexander the Great and the Hellenistic World of the East”

Afterward, there will be speeches by the former inspector of Public Administration Mr. Leandros Rakintzis on “Life in Hellenistic Alexandria,” by Professor and President of the Association of Greek Physicians, Dr. Stratos Theodosiou on “the Importance of Alexandrina Astronomy for Europe and for the subsequent development of Science,” and Presentation of the K. Kotsana Museum on “the Achievements of Alexandrian Technology – inspiration for Today’s Technology.”
