Mrs. Aliki Koutsomitopoulou is the new Ambassador of Greece to India

Senior diplomat Mrs Aliki Koutsomitopoulou (Greek: Αλίκη Κουτσομητοπούλου) has been appointed as the next Ambassador of Greece to India. She succeeds Mr. Dimitrios Ioannou as Greek envoy in India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, and the Maldives.

Mrs Aliki Koutsomitopoulou was born in Athens in July 1967. She Studied Mathematics at the University of Patras and Political Science at the Institute d’ Etudes Politiques, Aix en Provence. She is Fluent in French, English and Spanish.

Aliki Koutsomitopoulou joined the Hellenic Foreign Service in 1998 and served in various positions at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Athens and the EU as well as at the Embassies of Greece in Madrid and Cairo. Previously she served as Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy of Greece in New Delhi from January 2013 until August 2018.
