Prof. Vassilios Syros appointed Honorary Distinguished Fellow at the United Service Institution of India

Dr. Vassilios Syros, a distinguished historian and Professor of Greek studies at the Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, has been appointed Honorary Distinguished Fellow at the United Service Institution of India-Centre for Military History and Conflict Studies.

This high honor is a recognition bestowed upon exceptionally distinguished and valued faculty members for their contribution to the study of Indian history and strategic culture.

USI is India’s oldest think tank and was founded in 1870 for research and furtherance of interest and knowledge in the art, science and literature of the Defence Services. The story of its growth is the story of the growth of the Indian Armed Forces.
