Commemorating the 92nd Anniversary of Salt Satyagraha and its contribution to India’s freedom struggle, the Hellenic-Indian Society for Culture and Development (ELINEPA) is organizing an online speech titled “Salt Satyagraha -The Power of Nonviolent Action” by the eminent Gandhian Scholar Dr. Shobhana Radhakrishna .

At a time when world peace is at stake, the need for more political and social leaders the size of Mahatma Gandhi, who believe in combating economic exploitation and defending human rights through peaceful means, is once again emerging. Mahatma Gandhi’s Salt Satyagraha is one such historical example.
A short bio of Dr Shobhana Radhakrishna

Dr Shobhana Radhakrishna, an International acclaimed expert on Gandhi Katha. Last year during the commemoration of the 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi she travelled to 33 countries and presented 148 lectures and Gandhi Katha. She born in Sewagram Ashram in Wardha India, Radhakrishna has cultivated a strong ideological connect with Gandhi’s ideals since childhood. She has established many organizations to work for Sarvodaya, Gramswaraj and constructive programs. She is the founder of the SCOPE Gandhian Forum for Ethical Corporate Governance in India.
