Julien Guidicelli is a photographer from France. During his childhood, he spent most of his summers in Astypalaia. He was attracted to observing the isolated landscape and this was his main inspiration during his early years.

His work is developed in black and white in order to emphasize his passion for lonely characters, obscured creatures, deserted sceneries and all the details he could absorb in every trip he made.

In this exhibition, he selected a number of unpublished photographs, from Tattoo Studios – one of his great passions – and the landscape of India. For him, India represents the world of jewelry in a more ethereal way and that is the perfect match for Popeye Loves Olive – Art Space!
