The General Secretary for Greeks Abroad and Public Diplomacy, Emer. Prof. Ioannis Chryssoulakis visited India on the occasion of the Greek Cuisine Week organized by the Greek Embassy and GSGA&PD in New Delhi from November 17 to 25, 2023.

Creating new avenues for stronger cooperation between India and Greece in all fields, Mr. Chrysoulakis visited New Delhi, Rajasthan and Gujarat where he had meetings and constructive talks with distinguished members of the diaspora, the Union Minister of State for External Affairs & Culture Mrs. Meenakshi Lekhi, the Deputy Director General of the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) Mr. Abhay Kumar, the Chief Secretary of the Government of Gujarat, Mr. Raj Kumar, and other important persons of the Indian Government, acedemics and businessmen of the country.

Mr. Chrysoulakis also met with several members of the Greek-Indian Business Association (GIBA), including Mr. Narendra Kumar Bhati, CEO of the film productions company “God Bless Films”, who was also one of the sponsors of the Greek Cuisine Week, Mr. Kunal Ganeriwala, founder of the International Center for Visual Arts in Udaipur, and Mr. Syed Mahmoud Nawaz, a senior journalist and film director.
The General Secretariat for Greeks Abroad and Public Diplomacy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs always supports and promotes a network of actions aimed at further promotion of the strategic and friendly relations between Greece and India in the most fruitful and mutually beneficial way.
