Classical Indian music workshop
The Museum of Greek Folk Art and Greek Folk Musical Instruments – Fivos Anogianakis Collection organizes a classical Indian music workshop at the Museum of Greek Folk Musical Instruments (Diogenous 1-3, Plaka) on the following dates:
Saturday 9 December & Sunday 10 December 2017, 11: 00-14: 00
Saturday 16 December & Sunday 17 December 2017, 11: 00-14: 00
Eleni Tsambouri, Hermes Savantoglou and Rachel Karpozilou present the music of northern India and travel us to a fascinating musical world, directly related to the history, geography and culture of the country.
During these four meetings the participants will become familiar with the theory and the historical and cultural background of the Indian classical music, practice basic techniques and play music.
The workshop does not require specialized knowledge of music and is equally addressed to beginners and advanced, amateurs and professionals.
